All information about patients is confidential. All our staff adhere to the Good Medical Practice as laid down by the General Medical Council.

Sometimes your health information may be shared with statutory NHS bodies and research teams in order that services may be improved.This information does not usually contain any personal names and addresses when it leaves the practice. Nonetheless, you are at liberty to withdraw permission for this information to be shared.

Freedom Of Information – Publication Scheme

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available.

This scheme is available from reception.

Comments And Complaints

Comments and complaints about the surgery and its service can be made through the suggestion box in the waiting room and you may speak to our patient services manager in private at any time.

Our policy on these matters is displayed by the side of the suggestion box.
